It has been almost five years since we introduced digital technologies to dental treatment. Cutting-edge technologies like ‘same-day implant’ have enabled us to respond to patient’s concerns in terms of the pain and the length of treatment. More importantly, clinicians have benefited from digital technologies: the patients’ individual information is coded as computerized input which is processed to develop a 3D model of the final product of the proposed treatment plan. The patients, then, can decide if what they have been offered is going to meet their expectations or not.
